Our primary habitat is located at Plymouth Place Senior Living in LaGrange Park, IL. We've planted for over twenty species of Native Illinois Butterflies, plus 4 species of Giant Silk Moths. Residents can check out an "Adopt a Caterpillar Kit" to raise butterflies in their own apartments, finally releasing them into the wild.
Our chrysalis container located in the building's foyer is stocked with monarch chrysalises. As new butterflies appear in the container, we ask residents to put a good intention or wish out into the universe as they release the butterfly.
